Tigo SOS provides airtime to prepaid subscribers when they need it most, the objective is to introduce another loyalty tool and also reinforce Tigo's position as an affordable network. Tigo SOS allows Tigo to lend prepaid subs 15Gp airtime when they have less than or equal to 10Gp balance and have been active for more than three months
Eligibility
- Service is available only to prepaid subscribers
- No subscription is required..
- The subscriber must be an active Tigo prepaid user for at least 3 months, to qualify for this service
- Subscribers must have less than or equal to 10Gp balance.
How it Works
- Subscribers can only request the Tigo SOS loan through USSD *188#
- When a subscriber access the USSD code the system validates the subscriber and sends the subscriber the credit when they pass the validation.
- Subscriber can request the service for an unlimited number of times throughout the day.
However, any previous loan must have been paid with a recharge before the service request is successful
