Q. Where do I register?
A. Sign up at any Tigo Customer Service Centre in Ghana. You can register for the insurance for you and one family member of your choice. The insured must be healthy and between 18-69 years old.
Q. How do I claim?
A. If an insured person passes away, the beneficiary/insured person can SMS “CLAIM” to 027-2000007. A friendly agent from MicroEnsure will call you back to assist.
Q. What does the insurance cover?
A. Tigo Family Care Insurance means that if you or your registered family member were to pass away, your family will receive money (cheque) in time of need.
Q. How long is the insurance valid?
A. The insurance is renewed every month based on how much you have used Tigo the previous month.
Q. Does the insurance accumulate?
A. It does not accumulate. Insurance cover changes each month, based on how much you use Tigo.
Q. What do I have to do to keep the insurance?
A. Keep using the Tigo network when talking and texting. Use more Tigo, get more insurance!
Q. How many family members can I register?
A. The insurance is for the Tigo customer and one additional family member. You can choose to sign up either your mother/father, sister/brother, wife/husband or daughter/son.
